Hennie and Pleun were fantastic hosts. The property was amazing, from the decor, the cleanliness and all the little touches really made it special. We will definitely return. The wind howled and the rain came down after the sun set over the Stirling Ranges, but we were warm inside, sitting by the log fire, sipping local Shiraz and listening to a CD of our host Pleun playing saxophone. The Lily provides a lovely breakfast basket with fresh home baked Spelt bread. The interior of the cottage is spacious and comfortable, and charmingly filled with ornamental clogs and frogs! A perfect base from which to do bush walks in the Stirlings and the Porongurups, & visit nearby wineries.

Andrew M Welwyn, United Kingdom Reviewed December 10, 2012 Not only is this a most unusual experience but it is excellent in every way. Our two nights in the "Winery Quarters" were very comfortable - the rooms packed with interest form Hennie's special collections. A healthy breakfast basket is delivered to your room the night before and we do recommend the delicious meals delivered so that you can enjoy them at your own table. Wifi if needed in the restaurant area. Self guided tours of the amazing windmill are offered, or guided ones by Pleun who built it. These very talented people seem always to have a project - Pleun is now restoring an old military DC3 airplane. This is a unique experience.
